200 rubber ducks float down Terrell Creek!
Chances on "Duckies" will be available at the Birch Bay Chamber booth at
the Arts & Crafts Fair for $5 per chance and prizes will be awarded
for "Win,” "Place" and "Show.”
Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce organizers have scheduled the 31st annual Birch Bay Discovery Days and Family Fun Arts and Crafts Festival this weekend.
The festival will kick off at 11 a.m. Saturday at Birch Bay Drive and Alderson Road.
The parade will continue along the bay north to Harborview Road. Participating children can receive a free snow cone from the C Shop.
Following the parade, a variety of vendors will offer arts and crafts as well as food at the Sealinks Golf Course at 7878 Birch Bay Drive.
Festivities include live music, a bouncy house and a children’s carnival until 7 p.m.
On Sunday, participants will have the option to buy into a “ducky derby” rubber duck race at 1 p.m. Sunday at
Terrell Creek. Cost is $5 and prizes will be awarded.
