Bay Cafe in Birch Bay is collecting donations of door prize items for a musical concert benefiting the Grey Muzzle Organization and the Whatcom and Alternative Humane societies as well as all animals rescued from the Sumas bestiality farm.

Former Ministry guitar player and current RevCo vocalist Josh Bradford will debut his side music project, Simple Shelter, with his second album “All is One.” The event will also feature artists James Higgins and the Muddy Boots Band, Erupt Again, 47th Parallel, All of the Olives, Hustle City and The Real Tactics.

Suggested donation is $5 and will include a raffle for door prizes including a two night stay at Legacy Vacation Rentals in Birch Bay. Donations of pet food cannot be accepted as the Whatcom County Humane Society advises switching a pet's food can be upsetting to the animal. Donations will be used by the shelter to buy Science Diet, a company for which they have a discounted contract with. Children are welcome until 9 p.m. For more information, call 360/421-6838 or
