Local resident and writer Jeanne Halsey will be autographing copies of her self-published book, Shame-Free, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Whatcom County Pregnancy Center’s 19th annual Walk For Life May 8.

Halsey’s book explores how her family dealt with her teenaged daughter’s unplanned pregnancy.
