Two Blaine women and a Bellingham man were injured following a collision on Kickerville Road Monday. Washington State Patrol trooper Keith Leary said a 2004 Dodge Durango driven by Florinda de la Garza, 45, of Blaine, attempted to turn left onto Kickerville Road from Bay Road at about 7 a.m. April 5 and hit an oncoming vehicle.
The impact of the collision caused the second car, a 2001 Hyndai Elantra driven by Melissa Pavone, 20, of Blaine, to hit 49-year-old Phillip Harris of Bellingham as he was walking near the intersection.
All three were transported to St. Joseph Hospital for injuries.
On Tuesday, both Pavone and Harris were listed in satisfactory condition. De la Garza had been treated and released.
Both vehicles were totalled in the crash.
Neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected in the crash, he said.
