Birch Bay Square will host an Olympics tailgate party from February 11 to 28.  Food, beer, and live entertainment will be available and games will be broadcast all day

The kick off ceremony will be in honor of Aaron Aamot, a Ferndale high school graduate and a soldier in the U.S. Army who died while serving in Afghanistan last year. The courtyard at Birch Bay Square will also be named after him at 6 p.m. February 11.

A park and ride service will also be available for $50. The price includes a ticket to catch the shuttle to the border, from the border to the Sky Train, a Translink shuttle back to the border, and a ride back to Birch Bay Square.  For information, call 360/303-9272 or visit www.birchbaysquare.com.
