Fans of folk will want to be at the Silver Reef Casino Saturday, November 14 at 8 p.m. for an intimate concert with Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Judy Collins in the Silver Reef Pavilion.

With a career spanning 40 years, Judy Collins has thrilled audiences worldwide with her unique blend of interpretive folksongs and contemporary themes.

While her debut at 13 was as a classical pianist, her love of lyrics and guitar was sparked by the music of Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger.

Collins will be performing her hits from the folk era, such as “Turn, Turn, Turn,” “Someday Soon,” “Both Sides Now” and “Send in the Clowns,” which earned her a Grammy for “Song of the Year” in 1975, as well as her contemporary, heartbreaking ballad “Wings of Angels” that she wrote about the loss of her only son. Tickets are $34.50.
