Warm coats and blankets needed
By Jack Kintner
The recent cold and snowy weather has wiped out St. Martin’s Clothing Bank’s supply of warm blankets, comforters, flannel sheets and sleeping bags. Many of our clients are living in desperate conditions: In campers, inadequately heated trailers, un- or under-insulated housing. We beg the community to bring any bedding you can spare, along with warm pajamas or nightgowns, bathrobes, anything warm, to St. Martin’ s Clothing Bank, 500 C Street, next to the Blaine Food Bank. Intake days are 9 a.m. to 12 noon, Tuesdays and Fridays.
