Chamber elects new directors

The Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce board of directors elected new officers Tuesday.

Lisa Guthrie of Homestead Northwest is the new president with Tammy Pearce of Bay Café as vice-president, Janell Kortlever of Neighborhood Mortgage as treasurer and correspondence secretary, Molly Ernst of The Northern Light as the recording secretary and the special projects/volunteer coordinator is Jeb Warsinske of Sandcastle Resort.

Officers are elected by the board of directors annually. Bob Aitken, Mike Kent, Marty Stauffer and Chandra Dunn round out the rest of the directors.

Local artists and crafters wanted

The Blaine Community and Senior Center has scheduled its second annual Christmas Bazaar for 9 a.m. December 5 at the Blaine Community and Senior Center.

The center is looking for local artists and crafters to sell their goods during the event. Items must be homemade.

Those interested in participating can obtain an application at the center at 763 G Street. For more information, call 332-8040.

Art and craft vendors sought for Holiday Harbor Lights Bazaar
