Peace Arch dedication day Saturday

The U.S./Canada Peace Anniversary Association will welcome the Peace Arch founder Samuel Hill as part of their annual Peace Arch Dedication Days re-enactment ceremony at Peace Arch Park.
The event is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 6 at Peace Arch State Park and will also feature reenactments of the Queen of Romania, George Ellsperman, the deputy director of the Port of Blaine and others to commemorate the Peace Arch monument’s history on its 87th anniversary.
Participants are invited to dress in 1920s period costumes and join the celebration with a history exhibit, children’s games, antique cars, live music and refreshments.

Parking in the U.S.A.: The Peace Arch State Park is located on Interstate 5 exit #276, Blaine city center. Take D Street to 2nd Street. Drive north to the park entrance.
