Arts and jazz concert this Saturday

The 10th annual Arts and Jazz benefit auction and dance is scheduled for 7 p.m. February 3 at the Blaine Performing Arts Center.
The event will showcase the talent of the Blaine high school jazz band, chamber choir and arts students, as well as give thanks to those in the community who gave them support.

This year, the program will include a special performance of the Blaine Wind Ensemble as they prepare for their performance as invited guests at the Funabashi Music Festival February 11 in Tokyo, Japan.

The auction will feature art, gourmet dinners, get-aways, and other goods and services.

The Blaine Fine Arts Association, a non-profit organization, is sponsoring the event. The organization has provided $3,000 in annual art scholarships made possible by donations from the community.
The PAC is located in Blaine at 975 H Street. Admission is $5 and includes beverages and hors d’oeuvres.
