Blaine family featured in national magazine
Kim Van Wingerden, 22, of Blaine, was featured in the June/July 2006 issue of Farm and Ranch Living, a nationally distributed magazine published in Greendale, Wisconsin.
Van Wingerden wrote a month-long “diary” profiling the daily farm life of her and her family.
Her parents, Dave and Annemiek, own Pacific Growers in Blaine, just south of the Canadian border.

Local film ‘Reefnet’ wins Emmy
