Happy Egg Hunting!

The C Shop in Birch Bay will host a free Easter egg hunt from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 15, in the lot next to the C Shop.

“We’ll throw a few eggs off on the beach so kids that are a little older can still participate,” said co-owner Pat Alesse. Plastic eggs filled with candy or toys and gift certificates for snow cones will be given as prizes. The shop will also offer free bubble blowing and other children’s activities.

The C Shop is located by the bridge on Birch Bay Drive at 4825 Alderson Road in Birch Bay and can be reached by calling 371-2070.

The Stafholt Good Samaritan Center will also host a free Easter egg hunt beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15 for children up to the age of six.

A small, fenced in area will be available for children under the age of four and Reverend Walter will speak about the Christian meaning of Easter. Meet in the main entrance. Hot dogs, chips and juice will be provided after the event. The Stafholt Good Samaritan Center is located at 456 C Street and can be reached by calling 332-8733. The center asks that all children be accompanied by an adult.
