of the Harbor
musical festival this Saturday
All you need to attend the Sounds of the Harbor music festival this Saturday is a bag of groceries – and maybe some cash to purchase a raffle ticket or dinner from the local restaurants that will vend there such as Little Caesar’s, the Pizza Factory, Bogo Pizza and Red, White and Brew espresso.
The festival will include Celtic, alternative rock and bluegrass sounds from around the county in an effort to raise money for the Blaine Food Bank. The band line-up includes 10 O’Clock Scholar, an organic folk rock band from Blaine; Thursday Night, a Custer-based blue grass jam band; Distant Second, a Bellingham-based Dave Matthews sound-alike band; Eagles Whistle; 3/4 Mafia, a light rock band of Lynden, and also Lynden high school rock band Half-Blind.
The event begins at 4:30 p.m. at Marine Park Amphitheater.
