Group looking for old Peace Arch postcards

The U.S. Canada Peace Anniversary Association (USCPAA) is inviting the public to donate their copies of images or original vintage postcards of the Peace Arch for an upcoming exhibition titled: “The International Peace Arch: A Tourist’s View and Cultural Landscape.”

The exhibition will feature a historical look at the arch and international park featuring selected postcards from 1920 to the present. Particular interest is given to cards that feature the early 1920s through 1960s and those with views of the Peace Arch, park and the border crossing facilities from Canada and the U.S.

The exhibit will open in conjunction with dedication days September 10. Postcards can be mailed to the USCPAA at the address below. If you have any questions, contact the exhibit coordinator Christina Alexander at 332-7165.
