New pastor installed

A formal installation service for Reverend Jim Chase, the new pastor at Peace Arch Assembly of God in Blaine, will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 19. The Reverend Earl Heverly, Presbyter, will lead the service, which will be followed by a potluck lunch in the fellowship hall.

The Chase family arrived in Blaine in June from Sacramento, California where Jim ministered as senior associate and children’s pastor. He has been an active minister of the Assemblies of God for seven years. His wife Lucy is the worship leader and has recently chosen to stay home and take care of her family. The Chases have five children: Beth, 15, Ashley, 12, Dawna, 10, Sergio, 9, and Caleb, 5.
