Weatherization help offered

Blaine residents who have electrically heated homes may be eligible for weatherization assistance through the Opportunity Council.
Assistance is based on household income and energy usage. Call the Opportunity Council, 360/255-2192 or 888/ 586-7293, 9 a.m. - noon or 1 - 4 p.m.

Weatherization services can increase energy efficiency and make homes safer and more comfortable. The Opportunity Council is providing these services through funds allocated specifically for city of Blaine electric utility customers.

Since 1965, the Opportunity Council has worked to provide local programs that “help people help themselves,” including energy assistance, emergency housing, and child care resources.
