Pacific Arts presents Winter Harp concert

The Pacific Arts Association is pleased to present the ever popular Winter Harp, a concert that is part of the holiday tradition for hundreds of people in the area and a great favorite of our Canadian neighbors as well.

The production features gorgeous costumes, beguiling candlelight, and haunting melodies and song on medieval instruments interspersed with solemn and hilarious poetry. Youll laugh, youll cry, and youll exit the theatre with a new understanding of the meaning of Christmas.

Much of the magic stems from the stage decorations and superb acoustics in Blaines beautiful Performing Arts Center at 975 H Street. Although the theater is part of the Blaine school districts facilities, it is anything but your run of the mill performance space.

In this beautiful space, youll see and hear every aspect of the performance. According to Lori Papajohn, the Blaine Performing Arts Center is one of the best facilities available for the amplification of harp music.

Tickets are available for the Sunday, December 7, 3:30 p.m. on-line at www.pacificartsassoc.org and by phone with a credit card at 332-6484. They are on sale in Fairhaven at the Village Book Store and at Steamers, the Gift Shop at the Semiahmoo Resort, and the Visitors Center in Blaine.
