Local college students excel

Six local students have been named to the Dean�s List at the University of Washington for autumn quarter: Brian Chang, senior; Kathleen Joy Mclaughlin, sophomore; Sarah L Shore, junior; and Summer Elizabeth Starr, senior. from Blaine and Matthew Ryan Loveday, junior and Amy Rose Marsh, junior, of Custer.

To qualify for the Dean�s List, a student must have completed at least 12 graded credits and have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (out of 4). Students are notified that they have achieved this distinction when they receive their grades for the quarter. �

The following students from Blaine graduated from Whatcom Community College, fall 2002 with the listed degrees. Gretchen M. Coulter, Nick Cummins, Rachel L. Williams, with Associates in Arts and Sciences. Jessica A. Hicks with an Associate in Science Administration of Justice.
