Council commends auction results

The city’s first auction fundraiser for city beautification efforts received an “A’ for effort and results from city council Monday night. The event raised $4500, more than $2000 higher than expected. City council member Bruce Wolf said “It really says something when city staff pitches in the events” City manager Gary Tomsic praised city staff for volunteering and singled out Debbie Harger for special mention, describing her as the “real glue.”
