Community theater starts Rumors
The
Blaine Community Theater spring production, Neil Simons
Rumors, is ready to hit the boards in early April.
Rumors features four well-to-do New York couples who whimsically
attempt to cover up a possible scandal at their friends
tenth anniversary party. Hilarious misunderstandings abound
in this frothy, delightful comedy for all ages. Critics
have described the play as laugh-out-loud, fall-out-of-your-seat
funny, a bouncy, fast-paced spectacle,
and delightful and refreshing.
The production is directed by Jason Katz with set design
by Matt Greenway and stage management by Erin Walcon.
Rumors opens at the Blaine Performing Arts Center on April
12, and the run continues April 13, 19, and 20 at 8 p.m.
and April 14 and 21 at 2 p.m. Ticket prices are $7 U.S.
and $10 Canadian and are available at the door. No reservations
are necessary. Call 371-0131 for more information..
