Caregivers seminar planned

Elder Service Providers is hosting its 7th annual Caregiver Conference, Saturday, March 16 at the Best Western Lakeway Inn & Conference Center in Bellingham from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Sessions will include nutrition, financial and legal planning tips, a question and answer session for Russian-speaking caregivers, as well as a panel discussion on nailing down resources.

The cost of the conference is $15 for volunteer caregivers and $45 for professionals, a continental breakfast and lunch is included. A caregiver is someone who provides care for another person, professionally or voluntarily. In most cases, a caregiver is someone who cares for the elderly or ill, as well as disabled adults and children.
