A man, an artist and a portrait

Thirty-six artists gathered at the Blaine Open Studio Sunday afternoon to see award winning White Rock artist Brent Lynch demonstrate portraiture techniques. His subject was Plover captain Richard Sturgill, celebrating his 55th birthday. Event organizer Dolores Jordan said the studio has held these informal classes monthly since last fall. "Next month we'll host Brian Major, who lives just down the street from us here in Blaine," said Jordan. The date of February's demonstration has not yet been set..
