Improv troupe at local church
The
University Players, a six-member drama troupe comprised of students from Seattle
Pacific University, will perform Sunday, October 21, at 10:45 a.m. at Northwood
Alliance Church, 580 C St. The performance is free and open to the
public.
The University Players have won a well-deserved reputation for
dramatic excellence and theological richness. The students develop their own scripts
based on improvisation techniques that engage the audience in exploring conflict
and difficult issues. The Players perform in churches and high schools throughout
the Western United States.
Seattle Pacific University, founded in 1891,
is a fully accredited Christian university of liberal arts, sciences and professional
studies located in Seattle, Washington.
