Lions look for young artists

This year the Birch Bay Lions Club will submit two entries to the Lions International Peace Poster Contest. Local kids born between November 16, 1987 and November 15, 1990 may enter through the Blaine Boys and Girls Club or through the Blaine middle school art department.

This year’s theme is Lighting the Path to World Peace. Entries must depict the theme on a poster in picture form only; no words or numbers in any language may be included. Young artists can use any medium but it must not include computer or photographic images or other materials glued to the poster. Each participants must be the sole artist of his or her entry and may enter the contest only once. Entries must be in by early November.
