Local students top honors lists

Blaine students Al Rizwan Ali, Tasha Michele Kiemel and Guy Kristjan Smith have been named to the Dean’s List at the University of Washington for winter quarter 2001.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must have completed at least 12 graded credits and have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (out of 4) for the quarter.¦

The following students were appointed to Whatcom Community College’s dean’s list winter quarter 2001. Students are named to the list for high scholastic achievement.
