The Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center (WDRC) is hosting a free, two-hour, interactive presentation on the Realities of Advanced Medical Interventions, Wednesday, February 25th from 11:00am-1:00 p.m. This presentation is designed to increase participants’ awareness of Advanced Medical Interventions and features a discussion of actual outcomes for patients, for both the long and short term. Presented by Maureen “Koala” – RN and Cathy –BSN RN, who work in an Intensive Care Unit. They will present in layperson’s terms the realities of what these often heroic Advanced Medical Interventions mean to the average person and their families. Participants will learn about: CPR, Mechanical ventilation, Dialysis, and Medicines to support blood pressure. The class is free to attend and is open to the public. The presentation will be held at the Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center, located at 13 Prospect St. Suite 201, Bellingham.
