An event every week that begins at 7:00pm on Thursday, repeating until February 2, 2017
Whatcom Land Trust invites you to join Bud Anderson of the Falcon Research Group for a five session class, “Raptors in Our Lives and How to Find Them,” beginning January 5, 2017. The class will focus on identifying characteristics, behavior and life cycles of the raptors that winter in Bud’s neighborhood in Skagit County. Living in Skagit County, Bud is a world-renowned raptor expert, particularly peregrine falcons, the world’s fastest animal.
In addition to the five classroom sessions, the class is broken down into smaller groups for a daylong field trip on the Skagit Flats. People often comment that the field trip alone is worth the price of the class. The field trip is also a great opportunity to observe Bud Anderson, to see him think like a raptor.
The 2017 Bellingham class will meet 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursdays, January 5, 12, 19, 26 and February 2 downstairs at the Bellingham Public Library. To register, mail a check for $175 to the Falcon Research Group, Box 248, Bow WA, 98232. Include your address, phone number and email address. Questions? Call or email Bud – 360-757-1911; firstname.lastname@example.org. Or Rand Jack: 592-5169; email@example.com.
