The Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center (WDRC) is offering a Co-Parenting Communication Workshop Saturday, September 19th from 9am-12pm at the Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center. This course is designed to help divorced, separated, and never married parents build skills to manage emotions, be heard, communicate effectively, and reduce co-parenting conflicts. Participants will learn how to identify stresses and triggers, appropriately manage anger, and express needs in an assertive, interest-based manner. The workshop will introduce participants to the root of conflict, physiological responses to conflict, conflict resolution strategies, and effective communication techniques – empowering individuals to deal with conflict in their lives safely and productively. The cost of the training is $10 and pre-registration is required.
