20th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Human Rights Saturday Conference

Our title for this conference is: “50 Years of freedom or 50 Years of fear?; Chaos or Community? Where do we go from here?”.
It echoes the title of Dr. King’s book, “Where Do We Go from Here: Chaos or Community”. Our conference theme asks participants to reflect on what has changed and what has not changed since Dr. King’s death 50 years ago.
Our keynote will be “A Collective Contribution”, a fishbowl conversation between womxn of color.
There will be skill building workshops for children (accompanied by an adult), teens, and adults.
Clock hours will be available for school educators.
Information booths and complimentary refreshments, as well as food vendors on site with lunch options for purchase.
No childcare provided.
Doors open at 9:00 am.
