Senator and presidential hopeful Barack Obama outpolled Senator Hillary Clinton in all of them except central Blaine where they tied.

City council approves voting ward redistricting 5-0
In their regular meeting Monday, Blaine City Council ruled unanimously to shift Blaine’s entire ward 3 voting district to Semiahmoo and ward 2 entirely to central Blaine.

Council adopts youth sailing program
After a speculative cost-benefit analysis of providing recreational activities for youth, Blaine City Council voted 3-2 to approve a $1,500 service contract with Drayton Harbor Maritime’s community sailing program.
