Setting the record straight: Blaine middle school student Andrew Dahl, 13, and his father, Doug Dahl, r., last year during an attempt to set a world record for inflating more than 180 balloons with his nose. Dahl completed the same again last week – this time with 213 balloons – after Guinness World Records said the original attempt was invalid because his parents helped him tie the balloons. Dahl had promised his fellow students he would attempt such a feat if he won their vote for associated student president, which he did. Some politicians keep their campaign promises.
