| Former
Blaine resident publishes book
By Tara Nelson
Sharing
life’s experiences allows
individuals to grow and heal, but not everyone feels comfortable
talking face-to-face or joining a support group. But former
Blaine resident Lisa Moeller thinks she has an answer. In
her new book Healing A Life Unraveled, Moeller provides an
opportunity for readers to journal their own experiences
and pass it on to others who might benefit from their learned
wisdom.
Moeller,
an administrator at the Blaine police department, said
the journal was inspired by a desire to help some close
friends who experienced such traumatic events as a divorce
and the loss of a child.
A brief and personal introduction yields to 240 blank pages
for individuals to share their experiences through writing.
By inviting the authors to pass it along, she said she
hopes it will provide a way for people to connect with
others.
“It’s
based on the premise that there are certain experiences
in life that only someone who’s
been through them can really relate to,” she said. “It’s
sort of like writing it down and throwing it away. But
then someone else can benefit from it.”

a Life Unraveled is available for $14.99 by visiting
