| Attention:
Future kindergarteners!
The
Blaine primary school’s kindergarten registration
will be held on Thursday, March 30 in the Blaine primary
school multi-purpose room from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Children
are eligible to enter kindergarten for the 2006/07 school
year if they are turning five years old on or before August
31. You can drop by the primary school any time during
the day to enroll your student. A school nurse and both
secretaries will be available to answer your registration
and health questions.
Items
you will need to register your child are: a copy of the
child’s birth certificate,
updated immunization records and a social security card.
Updated vaccinations are required before the primary
office can accept your registration packet and your child
can begin school in the fall. If your child’s immunizations
are not current by March 30, you may still come to the
school to pick up a registration packet and return the
packet when the immunizations are completed. The school
also requires your child to have well child examination
by your family physician. The school allows a 30-day
grace period for the examination, but prefer the exam
be completed before school begins.
If
you have any questions or concerns about registration,
you may call the school office at 332-1300. |
