REPORTS
March 23: An individual in the 500 block of Peace Portal
Drive reported a woman had taken a fountain drink and possibly
some candy without paying for the items. The suspect left
in a vehicle. The area was checked, but the vehicle could
not be found.
March 23: Blaine officers assisted the U.S. Border Patrol
with the apprehension of two subjects that had entered the
country illegally through the Peace Arch park.
March 23: An individual in the 1200 block of Runge Avenue
reported his ex-girlfriend would not leave his house. The
suspect had left the area prior to officers arrival. The
individual stated his ex-girlfriend had not assaulted him
or damaged any property.
March 22: A report was received of a skateboard entering
the roadway and striking a moving vehicle in the 1000 block
of Mitchell Street. There was no visible damage to the vehicle,
but the skateboard was destroyed. March 22: An officer stopped
a subject for speeding in the 1000 block of Sweet Road and
learned the driver had two arrest warrants and a suspended
license. The driver was booked into Whatcom County jail
on the warrants and POLICE REPORT
March 26: Officers responded to a car prowl in the 1000
block of 4th Street. The suspect had left the area five
minutes prior to officers being dispatched. Officers and
the K9 unit searched the area. Officers will be interviewing
a possible suspect.
March 26: An officer took a report of a vehicle prowl in
the 600 block of G Street. Nothing was taken from inside
the vehicle. Possible suspect information was given. The
case is under investigation.
March 25: Officers stood by and assisted the fire department
with an aid call in the 1500 block of D Street for a female
with breathing difficulty. March 24: An individual reported
three people attempted to pass a counterfeit traveler’s
check. The suspects fled when they learned the police had
been called. An officer was unable to locate the suspects.
March 24: Officers received a report of a fight at a business
in the 1500 block of H Street. The parties had separated
prior to police arrival. No action was taken.
