Senator Murray visits border, meets with mayors United States Senator Patty Murray was in Blaine Monday to talk about interconnected issues of border security, transportation improvements and how they tie into the health of the local economy.
Council approves water contract before deadline In the nick of time, Blaine city council unanimously approved a new water supply contract with Birch Bay Water and Sewer District (BBWSD).
Kansas wins, but U.S. discovers Ridnour Just about everyone in Blaine and a copious quantity of people in Washington, Oregon, Texas and the United States were watching as ex-Borderite Luke Ridnour scored 20 points in Oregon’s 72-70 win over Texas in the NCAA Midwest Regional semifinal on March 22 in Madison, Wisconsin.
