A crabby time

The first Softball Benefit Crab Feed at Dakota Creek Roadhouse was an overwhelming success. Over 225 tickets were sold and there were some walk-ins, too.

Bob Briscoe, Jr. and his wife, Carol, spent 3-4 days collecting 1000 pounds of crab from 500 pots in the ocean (not in the bay) which were cooked at SeaK Fish Company in Blaine harbor. The dinner, with fresh cole slaw and garlic bread from Blaine Cost Cutter, was worth the donation. Dakota Creek Roadhouse provided free beer during the dinner, served by the coaches to the diners....
