January
17: An officer was advised of a possible assault in
the 800 block of Boblett Street between an adult and a child.
Case is under investigation.
January 17: Officers assisted WCSO by providing a
mutual assistance response to a resident in Birch Bay regarding
a domestic dispute possible burglary in progress.
Officers provided support for WCSO during their investigation.
January 17: A gas station in the 1300 block of Boblett
Street reported a gas and dash. An officer was unable to
locate the suspect or the suspects vehicle.
January 17: Officers were advised of crossing arms
malfunctioning at the intersection of Hughes Road and Peace
Portal Drive. Burlington Northern Railroad was advised of
the problem.
January 17: An officer located a green and black
15-speed Magna mountain bicycle in the 900 block of Boblett
Street. The bike was impounded until the owner can be located.
January 16: An officer received a report of a phone
scam in the 9500 block of Semiahmoo Parkway. The suspect
was not identified.
January 16: A border patrol agent requested assistance
with a subject who had fled on foot. Officers located the
subject in the 100 block of B Street hiding behind an abandoned
building. He was taken into custody without incident.
January 16: A Blaine resident brought in a scooter
found in the 400 block of Cedar Street. The property was
impounded for safekeeping until the owner can be located.
January 16: A Blaine officer assisted WCSO with a
domestic violence burglary in the 5500 block of Bayvue Road.
The suspect was apprehended in a nearby residence without
incident.
January 15: An officer received a theft report of
a stolen scooter in the 1000 block of Adelia Street. The
officer contacted the suspect and the scooter was returned
to the owner..
