Standing tall...

Standing Tall, the Peace Arch Anthem by local musician and arts booster Christina Alexander, is now available on compact disc. With the help of volunteers from both sides of the border, Alexander recently recorded the song, first performed at the July 4, 2000 celebration at the Peace Arch.
“There’s a U.S. anthem and a Canadian one,” said Alexander, who is president of the Canada/U.S. Peace Anniversary Association. “I wanted to write something that captured the meaning of our friendship.”

The CDs are available at Olason’s Corkscrew Willow and through Alexander at 332-7009.
