Counseling Program – Volunteers Training Course: Oct. 15, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Whatcom Counseling Clinic, Bellingham. The classes are held one day a week focusing on the aging process, development of listening skills, mental health issues, elder support and more. Blaine Senior Center Activities: Come participate in Tai Chi classes, quilt & sew, aerobics, China painting, walking and other great activities. Blood pressures taken Thursdays from the fire department personnel.
Whatcom Museum Events: The museum will explore ancient cultures and the world’s rainforests as well as local history and art in September.
