November
4: An officer received a report of theft of two shotguns
and bullets from a motor vehicle in the 9700 block of Vista
Terrace. The case is under investigation.
November 4: A Surrey resident attempted to enter
the U.S. while in possession of marijuana. An investigation
was completed and she was booked into Whatcom County jail
for possession with intent to deliver.
November 3: Officers received a report from a citizen
who had located his stolen fog lights at a pawn shop. An
officer determined the property belonged to the citizen.
The case is under investigation.
November 3: Officers were dispatched to the Blaine
Marina for two suspicious males on the boat docks. Officers
contacted the individuals and escorted them out of the area
without further incident.
November 2: Officers impounded a black bag for safekeeping
after it was found in the 200 block of Marine Drive.
November 2: An officer observed a driver with a possible
suspended drivers license in the 1600 block of Peace
Portal Drive. An officer confirmed the driver was suspended
and issued him a criminal citation with a mandatory court
date. The vehicle was impounded.
November 2: Blaine officers were advised by customs
agents of a suspended driver entering Blaine. The vehicle
was stopped. The driver was cited for DWLS/R 3rd and the
vehicle was impounded.
November 1: An officer at the school was informed
by a student that she had been assaulted by her ex-boyfriend
while in school. The officer located the suspect and booked
him into jail for domestic violence assault.
November 1: An officer responded to an aid call of
an elderly female having breathing difficulties in the 9700
block of Allen Street. The officer stood by until medics
arrived.
October 31: A business in the 800 block of Harrison
Avenue reported receiving a counterfeit Canadian currency.
The bill was impounded and will be forwarded to RCMP.
October 31: Officers responded to a call in the 1200
block of Harrison Avenue for a citizen that was struck in
the face by a water balloon. Officers checked the area but
were unable to locate the suspects. The case is under investigation.
October 31: Officers received a report of fireworks
being discharged in the 600 block of A Street. Officers
located the fireworks and impounded them as evidence to
be destroyed.
October 31: A resident in the 900 block of 4th Street
reported three boys dressed in black removed a pumpkin from
his porch and smashed it. The boys ran away and were not
apprehended. Extra patrol was provided to the area.
October 30: An individual was booked into Snohomish
County jail on a Blaine municipal court warrant as well
as new charges for driving while suspended. The warrant
was cleared from the law enforcement database.
October 30: Officers responded to a car in the ditch
in the 4100 block of H Street. The driver swerved to miss
an animal in the roadway and ended up in the ditch. The
driver was transported to the hospital for injuries by aid.
October 30: Officers were dispatched to the Peace
Arch POE for a person in possession of marijuana. Officers
arrested and released the individual for possession of paraphernalia,
marijuana, and methamphetamine.
October 30: Officers received a report of a gas and
dash from the 1800 block of Peace Portal Drive. There are
no suspects at this time.
October 30: Officers responded to a domestic violence
call in the 300 block of Alder Street. Officer determined
an assault had occurred and arrested and booked one subject
into jail.
October 29: A resident reported her camera had been
stolen. The victim reported leaving her camera on a counter
at a local business and then returned to find it missing.
There are no suspects at this time..
