assistant class set at Stafholt
Stafholt
Good Samaritan Center in Blaine announces an upcoming class
to prepare to become a nursing assistant.
The class will begin November 12 and will last for four
weeks, meeting Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.
2 p.m. After successful completion of the class, students
are eligible to take the state certification exam to become
nursing assistant certified.
The career of nursing assistant is a challenging and rewarding
one. Nursing assistants work in many settings, from hospitals
and clinics to nursing homes and doctors offices.
Students will learn about basic anatomy of the human body
and about how to care for people with common conditions,
signs and symptoms of illness, taking accurate vital signs
and helping with nutrition
Good jobs are always available for nursing assistants who
are caring, dedicated and have the needed skills.
