Vicki Kathleen Johnson, age 41 of Blaine, passed away October 28, 2001 at
the City of Hope Medical Facility in Monrovia, CA. Memorial will be at Grace Lutheran
Church Nov. 2. at 3:30 p.m. MCMILLAN.
Bess Marie McMillan, age 99 of Blaine passed away October 29, 2001 at the Stafholt
Good Samaritan in Blaine. The arrangements are pending at the Jerns McKinney Funeral

Dale Robert Miller, 61, passed away at his Birch Bay home on October 24, 2001.
Mr. Miller lived in CA before moving to Birch Bay in 1997. He was a master craftsman
who loved the outdoors and his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Dale is survived by his mother, six brothers, one sister, his daughter and son-in-law,
Robin and Kelly Bonham of Birch Bay, son Nicholas Nickleson of CA, two grandsons,
and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to
Hospice of Whatcom County, 600 Birchwood Avenue, Bellingham, WA, 98225. A funeral
service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2001 in the Jerns McKinney
Funeral Chapel in Blaine. A private burial service will be held at the Dry Creek

Guy A. Smith, age 83, passed away October 30, 2001, at his Birch Bay home. The

Arthur Joseph Stehle,
age 82, of Everett, passed away October 17, 2001. A former Blaine resident, Mr.
Stehle was a member of the Mason Lodge in Edmonds and Past Master of Kulshan Lodge
#186 F&AM of Blaine. He enjoyed fishing in Puget Sound, lake fishing and had
a large stamp collection. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Joseph
and Carol Stehle of Lynnwood, two brothers, one sister, four grandchildren, two
great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service, officiated
by Donald Walter, Pastor Emeritus, was held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 21,
2001, at Enterprise Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Society,
