Academic kudos

Four Blaine students won scholarships to the summer fine arts camp at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. David Dempsey, Celeste Fraser, Andrea Klemmt and Joe Voegele will travel to Fairbanks for an intensive month-long program focusing on music, theater, dance or visual arts.

Blaine students: Alex Milward Arthur, Terry Leigh Hergesheimer, Nathan Tobias Magnusson, Holli Laine Rook earned perfect 4.0 grade point averages for the fall semester at Western Washington University. Also named to the honor role for exceptional academic performance were Chelsea Nicole Breitbarth, Chad Edward Dunn, both of Blaine and Mary Louise Jellum of Custer.
