Mallahan
brings it home to Blaine

On
the 20th to the 25th of June Ben Mallahan, a senior, who
represented Blaine high school in the National Technology
Student Association (TSA) Conference traveled to Richmond
Virginia. Ben earned the trip to Richmond by winning the
State Conference in Cheney in late April.
At the state conference Ben received first in Promotional
Communications and second in film technology. At nationals
Ben brought home a second place trophy in Promotional Communications
with a video promoting TSA. Ben also placed sixth in Film
Technology. Ben put together a five-minute video on mock
newscasts.
Out of a total 3,500 kids at the national conference 42
where from Washington. Fourteen of those were in the top
ten and five received trophies.
