Early
Childhood Opportunities Northwest (ECONW) of Bellingham
will be sponsoring an open house to register children for
various Head Start programs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday,
July 26 at 1200 Dupont St. Suite 1-A in Bellingham. Parents
are encouraged to bring proof of their child’s birth
date, proof of family income for the 2000 calendar year,
or the previous twelve months and a current immunization
record.
Additionally, ECONW Program in Blaine is accepting applications
for its Head Start program, which will begin in early September.
The center serves children who will be 3 or 4 years of age
by August 31. The program includes three classroom experiences
per week and a monthly home visit. Parent-child activities
are also offered.
