Chamber planning a big Bite of Blaine

They hope you’re hungry. Who’s they? The directors of the Blaine Chamber of Commerce.

Ten local restaurants will be combining their efforts to create a “Bite of Blaine,” and will showcase their efforts at the Blaine Chamber of Commerce annual dinner.

The evening starts off with a no-host bar at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:30. It will be held at the Inn at Semiahmoo on February 21.

Tickets cost $20 and are available for purchase at the tourist office at 215 Marine Drive, Annie’s Deli, 684 Peace Portal and Pacific Building Center at 2677 Bell Road.

The chamber’s new board and officers will also be introduced to the audience. While what each restaurant plans to serve is still a secret, it’s bound to be good. Organizers are expecting a large crowd so call for tickets early.
