Remembering
Keli Scott...
March
31, 1960 February 12, 1996
For
all of you who had the pleasure of knowing Keli, if only
through a passing smile or a friendly hello, she was an
inspiration to us all. Kelis wants and needs were
of a simple nature.
She
so enjoyed reading, plant-ing her garden (oh the sunflowers!),
her cat Ziggy and, whenever money allowed, making improvements
to her wonderful chalet. Anyone remembering Keli bringing
over one of the creations she whipped up in her kitchen,
knows what a marvel of caring she put in everything she
prepared.
I so
loved my visits to Blaine, where she proudly showed it all
to her mom. Keli took me to the Inn at Semiahmoo, where
she worked - a serene and beautiful place.
I enjoyed
meeting her co-workers and walking along the bay. It is
a memory never to be forgotten. I picked up treasures along
the way...
Keli
echoes through the winds that blow, or newfallen snow, and
through the rain and sunrays that make the flowers grow.
So, as you continue on life's journey, it will warm my heart
if Keli is remembered once in awhile...
Love
from across the miles,
Susan
Scott
Keli Scotts mom
(Keli Scott, a resident of Birch Bay, was murdered in 1996.)
