tap at the Blaine PAC...
Yet
another world class musician will make his way to the humble
PAC and the welcoming hearts of that pocket of the Blaine
community thirsting for culture.
Internationally
recognized, Dr. Eduard Zilberkant will perform on piano
February 18 at 3 p.m. Zilberkants presence has been
felt in the music community since his live debut recital
on Russian TV at the tender age of seven. By age 12, he
had become an international artist, appearing in America
for the first time and receiving an invitation to perform
with the Atlanta Symphony from legendary conductor Robert
Shaw. Performing solo and with orchestral accompaniment,
he has included the US, Canada, Russia, Poland, Germany,
Switzerland, France, Spain and England on his extraordinary
tours.
Dr.
Zilberkant will offer a master class in keyboarding on the
17th.
Part
of the soon-to-conclude Pacific Arts Association season,
Zilberkant will be followed March 4 with Quattro Maestris
sensational finish for 2001.
Tickets are available at the door for $15 adult, $7.50 student,
and may be purchased locally at the Inn at Semiahmoo, and
Espresso & Co. in Blaine.
