Police
and the chocolate factory

Park will be the center of an exciting afternoon as the
police raise money for a four legged friend and promote
safety issues.
On August 18 at 7 p.m. the Blaine Police will be holding
the first annul Safety Fair. The fair includes free car
seat checks, free finger printing for kids, buzz hair cuts
for kids, Pickles and Daisy the clown, a K-9 demonstrations
and a dog show at 8 p.m.
To wrap up the fair there will be a movie in the amphitheater
at 10 p.m. While the police department can not advertise
the name of the movie, Totally Chocolate is giving a clue
free chocolate bars, some with golden tickets. All
children will be given a chocolate bar from Totally Chocolate;
three candy bars will have a golden tickets in them. The
children who find the golden ticket will win a tour of the
chocolate factory with five friends and a lot of chocolate
and souvenirs. The children will see the chocolate factorys
storage tank, with 20,000 pounds of chocolate in it, the
machines that pump out the chocolate and the chocolate being
poured into molds.
A donation of four dollars per person will be asked and
ten dollars for a family when entering the movie. Volunteers
from Bayside Beauty Salon will give buzz cuts for five dollars.
Figaros pizza will donate pizza to be sold at the
concession stand along, with popcorn. All proceeds from
the event will go the K-9 fund..
