Long-Term Care Seminar: Sept. 13, 1 p.m., Blaine
Boating Center. Topics discussed will be by Sean Hackney

K9 Fundraiser: A beautiful 3 x 4 foot stained glass
window depicting a bald eagle and lighthouse may be viewed
at Bayside Beauty Salon on Peace Portal Drive. This window,
donated by Ruth Green of Little Red Caboose, is up for raffle
at $2 a ticket. Tickets available at the police station.
Community members are encouraged to help sell tickets as
well. To start and maintain the program, the police department
needs a total of $20,000.
Plover Foot Passenger Ferry Service: Depart from
the Blaine visitors dock on the hour and Resort Semiahmoo
wharf on the half hour Friday and Saturday, noon to 8 p.m.
and Sunday 10 a.m. 6 p.m.
Semiahmoo Maritime Museum: Noon to 4 p.m., Fri.
